This book is talked about a farm kitten which was called Martin. Martin liked mice very much but not for dinner. Martin liked mice as pets. He caught mice and kept them in a bathtub. Martins visited them, fed them and did everything he could to protect them from his mouse hunting family. As Martin grew up, he learnt about friendship and responsibility. One day, his mice ran away! He tried to find them out. Unfortunately Martin was caught by the human and he knew that why the mice ran away: he just liked mice as pets, not as friends. Finally, he escaped from the human's house and he didn’t catch the mice to be his pets anymore. He just treat them as friends.
