What are the special features / terms that you have learnt from the article ?The special features I've learnt from the article , is the great bad impacts of desertification . Base on my own knowledge , I only know that desertification is the turning of lands into deserts , but the impacts are amazing. Desertification disrupts the lives of 400 million of people and loss 54 billion yuan a year. I've also learnt that china has drawn lots of attention on it , it uses @2 billion yuan to fight desertification , they do lots of things in protecting the natural vegetation , and prevent the sand storms and reclaiming lots of forests . I've not throught that a piece of palce which is covering by sand needs lots of capital and efforts of the cantral , provinces andautonomous regions. It's not the problem of those places where are fighting with desertification , but also us . I've learnt desertification is one of the major hazards in the world.
Q2. Describe the most interesting feature in the article. Explain your reasons.(好求其作，答案好牽強) The most interesting thing I think is the effort o the government . In the past, although china gave the money to other countries, it'd not give any money to the people and any projects (except the olympic), but in the case of desertification , the government used 2 billion a year and do lots in six projects, like protecting the natural forest , preventing sand storms and change the land for agricutral to forests or grasslands etc. In this project , china sued lots of money and reduce the income of the cultivation because of the changes of the land uses. China also setted lots of laws , like ban the tree falling and logging. In the result , the china didn't have enough fund to finish the planning. China also shares its oppinion to the other countries , that's mean china gives lots of attention. The efforts of the government makes me feel interesting , but also touching.

It can informate me lots of knowledge about it. To fight with desertification , it needs the effort of the government , countries , and also , the public. Desertification is now a great problem of the world , this article gives us attention to this great problems or hazards.
Q3.WHAT ACTIONS CAN YOU TAKE TO MINIMIZE THE PROBLEM ?The duty to fight with desertification is not only the problem of the government , but also us. If I were the people who are living in china , I would plant some some saplings . As a member of global village , I can join the association or campaigns to fight desertification . . I can also inform myself and donate money to the people who are suffering in desertification or drouht and donate money to the government since the government did not have enough captial to fight with desertification.
